APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Prior to applying Pool Leak-Seeker, remove your automatic pool cleaner from the pool.
- Turn the pool pump off and set the filter to ‘bypass’ or re-circulate’ mode. If neither of these options are available, remove the filter grids or cartridges from the filter prior to commencing treatment. Isolate all dosing control/tablet feeders/salt chlorinators from the water line prior to dosing with Leak-Seeker.
- For leaks in the pool surface – add the Leak-Seeker directly into the pool in or around the location of the leak. Otherwise distribute the product evenly around the pool. For leaks in the pipework – add the required dose of Leak-Seeker directly into the skimmer basket when the pumps are ‘off’, allowing the product to percolate through the pipework. If unsure of leak location follow the instructions for leaks in the pool surface (above).
- Wait 30 minutes and then turn the pump ‘on’ and leave the pump running for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Mark the level and check again in 24 hours.
- A second application may be required, especially in larger pools.
- Leave the pool until all the residue has settled (usually within 6 hours) before vacuuming any residue in the pool to ‘waste’.
- Replace the filter grids or cartridges after 24 hours and resume normal operation.
- Handle this product in a well ventilated area, preferably outdoors
- Ensure lid is replaced and sealed after use
- Store in a cool, dry place.
